I received the charcoal konjac sponge to try out, which is supposed to be beneficial to those who suffer from acne. Charcoal is like a magnet to bacteria and pore-clogging gunk so this was an exciting product to try. When first opening the packet the sponge comes in, the sponge is as hard as a rock. You must first soak it in warm water for about 5 minutes so it softens completely and then it's ready to use. I like to apply my facial cleanser to my face, then wet the sponge and massage my face with the wet sponge. This foams my cleanser nicely and gives the sponge a chance to really work everything into my pores and cleanse everything thoroughly. I rinse my face well, then squeeze my sponge out repeatedly under running water to remove the excess soap. The attached string allows me to hang the sponge to dry so it doesn't grow mold or mildew. It dries within a few hours most days (unless it's humid), and is easy to rewet after it's initial use. Overall, I have really noticed an improvement in how clean and clear my face looks and feels since using this sponge. I highly recommend this My Konjac Sponge to anyone with troubled skin like mine.
